The Project for Promotion of Global Human Resource Development aims to deal with international strategy by focusing on the following points.

University-wide reform of education programs for the global human resource development

  • Renewal of the Liberal Arts program: Introduction of active learning methods
  • New English Program: Continuous and consistent English courses offered by the Center for Language Studies
  • Internationalization of our campus: Increasing the number of the agreements of academic cooperation and overseas offices

Spill-over effects of our project

Expected effects of our project to Nagasaki University at large

  • Human resource developed by our project as the role model of global person in Nagasaki University
  • Curriculum development for the global human resource development education
  • Accumulation and spread of know-how for the global human resource education

Methods for spreading our achievement to other departments

  • Management and operation system of this project as University-wide office/center
    Share the know-how for the global human resource education with staff of the Center for Language Studies and Center for International Collaborative Research attend at the Council board as committee members of this program.
  • Newly hired faculty members and coordinators will be affiliated with the Liaison Center for International Education.
  • ⇒The know-how for the global human resource education is accumulated in the Liaison Center for International Education, and utilized for internationalization of Nagasaki University.
